This guy left a comment on the blog back in November. Made me smile.
Just finished reading book 1 and immediately went to B&N to download book 2. When I realized it wasn't out yet, I raised my fist to the sky and shouted "Wind, Why isn't it here!" Glad you're making progress.
I also would love to read the Battle of Black Sun if you wrote it.
My one request/ suggestion, is a Dream of Storms Wiki. While your book was fairly easy to follow all the people and places, I'm the kind of guy who likes to be reminded who did what with the lead pipe in the conservatory. It would be nice to be able to look up a character, race, item, or place and go "oh yeah, now I remember what that's all about!"
Keep up the good work!
Peter

William ,that must make you feel great! Anytime that your work is validated or appreciated, under any circumstances, has to make you feel like it was all worth it! I have gotten a few decent reviews, but nothing quite like that! I am happy for you and hope your second book brings that fella as much joy. See you in the funny papers. ~Gary
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gary. The fact that he wrote the phrase, "Wind, why isn't it here?" means he really paid attention to the book. Wind is the name for God in my world. It's just awesome when people get into it and act as if your world is real. By the way, you are going to love the art I've done so far.
